If I’m being honest, I don’t know what your marriage is like, so who knows whether you’re a horrible guy for cheating. Maybe your wife is a horrible shrew. I know plenty of men who cheat, or have, or they would, given the opportunity. It’s nothing to be proud of, but it’s not the worst thing in the world. Still, you need to figure out if you can live with the emotional and financial consequences of cheating. Even if you never get caught, there has to be some baggage in the relationship as a result of banging strange. Part of the problem is that I think you will get caught. You just sound bad at this. Consider:(1) You asked friends from work whether to bang this chick. Even if you don’t bang her, they will tell other people that you work with about the incident. (You’ve got to talk about something when you’re pretending to bill 3500 hours.)(2) Your potential skank called you unsolicited on your cell, and she already has your email address and your home address. That should be very frightening to you. Haven’t you seen that movie with Beyonce and that guy from the Wire? Speaking of the Wire, you understand how cell phone records work, right?(3) You met this bitch with your wife’s brother, so your brother-in-law knows her and she now knows him. There’s just a lot of potential for worlds to collide. (4) Is there any chance your brother-in-law reads ksk? What about your friends from work? Because holy shit if they do, unless the insane level of detail you provided is a hoax. If you do cheat, you cannot cheat with this woman. The risk seems way too big, as far as these things go.I’d also like to point out that you should not stay married only because of your kids. That just seems kind of dumb. (Kids are a reason not to cheat, but probably not a reason to stay in a bad marriage.) Obviously there’s some kind of issue in your marriage, and you may want to figure out if it can be solved.
